Review Mode helps you polish your draft with AI feedback and the Read Aloud feature. Catch issues your eyes miss and ensure your content is ready to publish.

How Review Mode Works

  1. Analyze your content - BlueTip reviews your entire document
  2. Get targeted feedback - See suggestions organized by category
  3. Listen with Read Aloud - Hear your content spoken naturally
  4. Make improvements - Accept, modify, or dismiss suggestions

Feedback Categories

  • Clarity - Confusing or unclear passages

Understanding Feedback

Each suggestion includes:

  • Location - Where the issue appears
  • Issue - What might be wrong
  • Suggestion - How to improve it
  • Actions - Accept, modify, or dismiss

Accepting Suggestions

Click Accept to apply the change immediately. The document updates in place.

Modifying Suggestions

Click Edit to customize the suggestion before applying it.

Dismissing Suggestions

Click Dismiss to remove suggestions that don’t fit your intent.

Read Aloud Feature

Read Aloud is one of BlueTip’s most powerful review tools. Hearing your content reveals issues reading silently misses.

Using Read Aloud

  1. Click Read Aloud in the toolbar
  2. Choose a voice from 10+ options
  3. Press play to start
  4. Pause, skip, or scrub through your document

What to Listen For

  • Awkward phrasing - Sentences that sound clunky when spoken
  • Rhythm issues - Monotonous sentence length or poor flow
  • Repetition - Words or phrases used too often
  • Tone mismatches - Content that sounds different than intended

Voice Options

Different voices highlight different aspects:

  • Slower voices - Help catch grammatical issues
  • Faster voices - Reveal pacing and flow problems
  • Different tones - Show how content might be perceived

Review Workflow

First Pass: AI Feedback

  1. Let BlueTip analyze your document
  2. Review high-priority suggestions first
  3. Work through each category
  4. Focus on clarity and flow

Second Pass: Read Aloud

  1. Listen to the entire document
  2. Note sections that sound off
  3. Pause and fix issues as you hear them
  4. Listen again after major changes

Final Pass: Manual Check

  1. Read through one more time
  2. Check links and formatting
  3. Verify names, numbers, and facts
  4. Confirm you’re happy with the result

Tips for Better Reviews

Don’t Accept Everything

AI suggestions are recommendations, not commands. Trust your judgment.

Listen Actively

Don’t multitask during Read Aloud. Focus on hearing your content.

Take Notes

Write down issues as you find them. Fix in batches after reviewing.

Get Distance

If possible, wait a few hours between writing and reviewing. Fresh eyes catch more.

Moving to Publish

When you’re satisfied:

  1. Click Publish in the mode switcher
  2. Choose your export format
  3. Share your polished content

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Space - Play/pause Read Aloud
  • Left/Right - Skip backward/forward
  • Cmd/Ctrl + Enter - Accept current suggestion
  • Esc - Dismiss current suggestion
