Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using BlueTip ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

BlueTip is operated by PixelTowers, a company based in Tallinn, Estonia.

Description of Service

BlueTip is an AI-powered writing platform that helps users brainstorm, outline, write, review, collaborate on, and publish content. The Service includes web and mobile applications, AI-assisted writing features, and related tools.

Account Registration

To use BlueTip, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use BlueTip. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

Subscription and Payments

BlueTip offers free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support for assistance
  • Prices may change with reasonable notice to existing subscribers

AI Credits and Usage Limits

Each subscription tier includes a monthly allocation of AI credits. Credits are used when you access AI-powered features. Usage limits apply as follows:

  • Credits reset at the beginning of each billing cycle
  • Unused credits do not roll over to the next month
  • If you exceed your credit limit, AI features will be paused until your next billing cycle or until you upgrade
  • Free tier users have daily request limits in addition to monthly credit limits

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create using BlueTip. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Store and process your content to provide the Service
  • Send your content to third-party AI providers to deliver AI-powered features
  • Create backups for data protection purposes

We do not claim ownership of your content, and we will not use your content for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use BlueTip to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Generate, store, or distribute harmful, abusive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers

AI-Generated Content

BlueTip uses artificial intelligence to assist with writing. Regarding AI-generated content:

  • AI suggestions are provided as assistance and may not always be accurate or appropriate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated content before use
  • You are responsible for ensuring your final content does not infringe on others' rights
  • AI outputs may occasionally contain errors, biases, or inappropriate content

Intellectual Property

BlueTip, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by PixelTowers and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our permission.

Third-Party Services

BlueTip integrates with third-party services including AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic), payment processors (Stripe), and authentication services (Clerk). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or quality of AI-generated content or suggestions.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIXELTOWERS AND ITS AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PixelTowers and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to BlueTip at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • You may request export of your content before termination takes effect
  • We may delete your account and associated data after a reasonable period

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Estonia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Tallinn, Estonia.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PixelTowers regarding the use of BlueTip.
